Dyson V8 TYPE D Cordless Battery

THIS LISTING IS ONLY FOR THE TYPE D BATTERY. NOT ALL V8 BATTERIES ARE THE SAME.

Before purchasing please make sure this battery is the correct one for your Dyson V8 vacuum cleaner. You will be able to tell after removing the battery from your vacuum cleaner. If your battery has a fitting that looks like the second image here, please continue with your purchase below. If your battery does not have a fitting like the image highlights you will need to purchase a Type E Battery (linked below).

This is a used TYPE D genuine Dyson battery suitable for certain V8 (SV10) cordless vacuum cleaners. Check your serial number, if it starts with the three digits below, this battery is correct for your machine:

If you can’t find your serial number, you can confirm compatibility by looking at the SECOND image with the loop. Make sure yours looks exactly like that, not similar, exactly.  

These batteries ONLY fit the V8 model listed above. This battery will NOT fit machines with a serial number that starts with G1M, E4Z, YM8, TT8, RA5, ZW9, ZW8, RA6, H3K, F7Z (find that one >>here<<) and they only fit V8/SV10 (SV10 is not the same as V10) machines and not any other cordless Dyson model despite looking similar. Please be certain this is the battery you need before you buy one. 

These batteries have been bench tested by our engineers and all run for 6 minutes or more on the max setting - which is a good performance time for a V8.

These are used batteries that have been charged and bench tested by our engineers, and all run for over 6 minutes on max, from a full charge, without a floor tool fitted. (New ones tend to run for about 7-8 minutes so there's still adequate life in these. Real-world usage will vary and may be less than 6 minutes, or much more if not used on max).

As they have been tested and timed to flat, they will arrive flat and need fully charging before use.
