This is a new soleplate for the DC24.

Please examine the photos to be sure this is the part you need.

You need a T10 Torx screwdriver to undo the soleplate screws, and a T8 screwdriver to remove the motor from the soleplate - both of which you can find below individually or as part of the Unofficial Tool Kit.
