This is a new Smiths T8 torx screwdriver that you need to undo the final screw when replacing a DC24 brush bar motor (the smaller one of the two you may need -- the larger one is below).

Every Dyson engineer has one of these. These are the good quality Smiths ones we use.

Note: If you are working on late model Dysons, you probably need more than this one alone. We have a good deal for our >>set of three Dyson screwdrivers<< that will allow you to get into any Dyson for any repair job.
