Delivery Information

We offer FREE UK economy delivery on all orders over £30 in value. This must be selected as an option during checkout.

For UK orders under £30 in value, you can select £3.99 economy delivery or leave the default option which is tracked premium delivery at £6.99. For overseas orders, the site will calculate the shipping charge to your country during checkout.

About premium delivery: Your order will be dispatched with either DPD, Royal Mail Tracked 24 or DHL. We use our discretion and select the fastest and most suitable service depending on your location, the parcel size, weight and value.

UK delivery times: All orders are sent as soon as possible; usually the same or next working day. If there is a delay with your order for any reason, we will contact you. DPD/RM/DHL deliveries are typically a day or two after order dispatch, economy is up to 7 working days. Check your emails (including the spam folder) and phone for tracking alerts. 

If you put your mobile number on the order, you will usually get SMS delivery alerts. Most carriers provide parcel recipients with a configurable (change day, deliver to a neighbour, etc.) and a delivery window, notified by SMS and email. If your order is sent DPD, that enables you to watch the progress of your delivery on a real-time map, all the way down to a final 15-minute time slot if you have their app.

What 'premium delivery' means in detail: It doesn't mean "Order at 11 pm on Friday night and get it Saturday morning". Our order cut off is about 1.30 pm on weekdays for same day sending (as couriers collect from us around 2 pm each day). So for example, if your order is placed Monday morning, it will leave us Monday afternoon and typically arrive Tuesday or Wednesday. But if you order Friday after 1.30 pm, it won't be collected until Monday, so will still arrive Tuesday or Wednesday.

Delayed Royal Mail economy deliveries: Royal Mail are typically very reliable and items are usually delivered within a few days. However, during peak periods or bad weather and to certain locations, delivery can be delayed. Royal Mail operate an eighteen day policy for late and lost post, although most items are received within seven days.

Items not Received: We find that most queries that start out as 'item not received' claims are caused because the item wouldn’t fit through your letterbox and has been taken to your local delivery office or left with a neighbour and no card has been left. Please first check with neighbours and places such as bins, porches and other places that postmen and couriers might leave an item.

If the package was too large to fit through your letter box and you weren't home when Royal Mail attempted delivery, your order will often be at your local delivery office or local post office (depending on the local policy where you live) and they should have posted a card through (although they sometimes don’t). Please contact your local delivery or post office office to confirm that your package is available for collection. Please note that you do not need a 'While you were out' card from Royal Mail to do this. 

With economy or free delivery, we ask that you allow 10 days after the estimated delivery date to receive your item, to allow for any delays. In reality, the chances of items being 'lost' by the Royal Mail or couriers are minuscule.

Overseas Delivery: Orders to the EU typically take 5-10 days to arrive. Orders outside the EU typically take 7-21 days to arrive (North America can be very slow due to delays with US customs – see below).

About Delivery to the US: US delivery times are typically 10-21 days. Slow deliveries to the US are because of Homeland Security and USPS being slow to process incoming international mail. Please >>contact USPS<< in the event of delayed mail. Royal Mail typically gets mail into the US for onward processing in three days. Delays beyond that are local delays and out of our control. If your item hasn’t arrived within 21 days please contact us. Do NOT use charge-back instead of customer service. We consider charge-back without contact as fraud, we will pursue it as such, and will robustly defend any charge-back claims from the United States. If the USPS doesn't work properly where you live, please call USPS or your Congressman - not your bank.

About Delivery to Canada, Spain, Greece, Italy and Portugal: We have suspended regular mail deliveries to some countries due to ongoing problems with the local postal services being exceptionally slow and unreliable and the customer service issues that causes us. We can quote on a bespoke basis for tracked delivery if you >>contact us<< and let us know what you want.

Customs charges: If your delivery address is outside the UK, you may be required to pay import duties and taxes when your order reaches your country. These and any additional charges for customs clearance are your responsibility and are beyond our control. However, most of our non-EU customers don’t need to pay customs charges. 

Delivery to insecure locations: If you live in a place where mail is left in a communal or insecure area, as is the case with many apartment blocks and flats, mail delivered to the communal or insecure area or a neighbour will be considered delivered. We cannot be responsible for the neighbours or communal areas where you live. If you live in a location where mail is insecure, please be sure to configure your delivery where possible for total peace of mind. 

Fraud Prevention: For item not received claims, please be aware that we will contact your local sorting office with a description of the package and request a Postman interview. We also co-operate with Royal Mail, USPS, PayPal and several online shopping fraud prevention programmes to minimise our exposure to item not received fraud.

Delivery to Multiple Locations: Unfortunately, we cannot split up an order and deliver to multiple locations. If you wish to send items to different locations, you will need to place a separate order for each delivery address.

Address Changes: Unfortunately, we cannot change the delivery address on an order after it has been placed. If you have entered your delivery address incorrectly, please email us to have your order cancelled before the item is shipped.

Delivery to military addresses: We are happy to ship most of our products to military BFPO/APO/FPO/DPO addresses as long as the package falls within Royal Mail size and weight limits. Please ensure you format the address correctly according to military guidelines and always remember to enter your full name, grade, and PSC or unit/regt number. Please allow more time for orders to military addresses to be received.
