Delivery Information

Dispatch times

Orders are dispatched as quickly as possible, usually the same or the next working day. If there is ever a delay, we will contact you.

At our discretion, parcels of higher value or going to certain locations may be sent using a signature-required service. When this applies, Royal Mail will not leave the parcel unattended and someone must be available to sign for it.

Tracked 24 explained (faster service)

Royal Mail Tracked 24 is the quicker of the two services. Most Tracked 24 parcels arrive the next working day after dispatch, but some take longer. Weekends and bank holidays are not counted as working days.

Tracked 24 is not a 24-hour guaranteed service, and all delivery times are estimates. Royal Mail do not guarantee next-day delivery on this service.

Our weekday dispatch cut-off is around 1.30 pm when Royal Mail collect from us.

Examples:

  • An order placed on Monday morning will normally go the same day, with delivery typically Tuesday or Wednesday.
  • An order placed after 1.30 pm on Friday will be collected on Monday, with delivery typically Tuesday or Wednesday.
  • An order placed after the Friday cut-off or at any time on Saturday or Sunday will leave us on Monday, with delivery usually Tuesday or Wednesday.

Tracked 48 (economy service)

Royal Mail Tracked 48 is the economy service. Royal Mail do not guarantee delivery times on Tracked 48.

Tracked 48 deliveries typically take two to five working days, but they can take longer during busy periods, in remote areas or due to local conditions.

Royal Mail delivery times and delays

Royal Mail are generally very reliable, but delays can occur during peak periods, bad weather or in certain locations. Their official timeframe for classing a parcel as late or lost is eighteen working days, although most delayed items arrive well before this.

Items not received

Most “item not received” cases turn out to be missed deliveries rather than lost parcels.

If the parcel does not fit through your letterbox, Royal Mail may take it to the local delivery office, leave it with a neighbour, or place it in your designated Safeplace. A Safeplace is any protected location you have set in the Royal Mail app, and parcels may be left there even without a card.

If your order has not arrived, please:

  • Use the Royal Mail tracking page at royalmail.com/track-your-item and enter the tracking number from your confirmation email or SMS. It will usually show a delivery photo and the GPS location of the scan.
  • Look in your Safeplace.
  • Ask neighbours.
  • Check usual areas where parcels are often left, such as porches, sheds and bins.

Royal Mail proof of delivery

Royal Mail delivery scans are GPS-based and supported by a delivery photo, map location or electronic signature. Once Royal Mail confirm delivery through GPS scan or tracking, this is treated as final proof that the parcel was delivered to the address or location shown. We are unable to refund or resend orders where Royal Mail tracking confirms delivery, including deliveries to any Safeplace you have set up with Royal Mail.

Communal or unsecured buildings

If you live in a property where mail is left in communal or unsecured areas, any parcel delivered there or to a neighbour is considered delivered. We cannot accept responsibility for parcels once Royal Mail confirm delivery.

Economy and free delivery services

For economy or free delivery, please allow up to ten days after the estimated delivery date before assuming an item is missing. Genuine losses with Royal Mail or couriers are extremely rare.

Delivery to multiple addresses

We cannot split an order between multiple delivery addresses. To send items to different locations, please place a separate order for each address.

Address changes

We cannot amend delivery addresses after checkout. If you entered an incorrect address, please email us immediately to cancel the order before it is dispatched.

Overseas delivery

This site only processes UK orders. If you would like an order delivered overseas, please contact us, and we will be happy to quote for tracked shipping.

Delivery to military addresses

We are happy to send to BFPO, APO, FPO and DPO addresses provided the parcel meets Royal Mail size and weight limits. Delivery times are longer than standard UK post. Please format the address correctly, including full name, grade and unit information.
