This is a 4000 mAh, Type E battery suitable for most V8 (SV10) cordless vacuum cleaners. Check your serial number, if it starts with one of the three digits below, this battery is correct for your machine:

If you can’t find your serial number, you can confirm compatibility by looking at the image with the loop. Make sure yours looks exactly like that, not similar, exactly.

These batteries ONLY fit the V8 models listed above. This battery will NOT fit machines with a serial number that starts with YA6 (search for a Type D in that event) and they only fit V8 machines and not any other cordless Dyson model despite looking similar. Please be certain this is the battery you need before you buy one.
