Dyson Red Button V11 & V15 Detect Battery

A faulty main unit can damage a new battery the moment it's connected, and misdiagnosis is common.

This is a new replacement battery for Dyson V11 (SV15–SV18), Outsize (SV16, SV17), and V15 Detect (SV22, SV28, SV29) models. It does not fit earlier V11 machines like the SV14, which use a screw-in battery. This version is the click-in type, released using a red button.

OEM part number reference is 970938-01 and 970425-01.

The capacity is 4000 mAh at 25.2V — higher than the original Dyson battery (3600 mAh). Be wary of unrealistic figures like 9000 mAh or more that you may see on Amazon or eBay. They’re usually made up by overseas sellers and don’t reflect real performance.

Please check the photos carefully to avoid incorrect orders. If your V11/V15 battery is removed with a red button, this is the right type.
