This is an excellent quality replacement motor to suit the following UK, European and Australian Dyson models: 

• DC02 (It's a tight squeeze, but this motor will fit your DC02 - and no other is available any more. Find the tutorial >>here<<)
• DC05 (if a YV-2100 was originally fitted - looks the same as the photo above)
• DC08 (if a YV-2201 was originally fitted - looks the same as the photo above - if Matsushita UDS1554CNA, you want >>this<<)
• DC11
• DC19
• DC20
• DC21
• DC29

This motor replaces 220-240v motors labelled with YV-2100, YV-2201, YV-2100-1, YV-2201-C, YV-16K23C, [YV-500 and YV-510 in DC02's - not an exact fit, but it will fit if you read the tutorial linked above]. 

This motor is 220-240 volts/1600 watts and is NOT suitable for USA models. 

This motor has the correct external suppression and overload thermal cut-out, which not all motors do. 

Please remember to order the correct filters when changing your motor as these will need changing at the same time as the motor.

DC05 and DC08 owners: If your machine if fitted with a Panasonic/Matsushita UDS1554CNA or a Panasonic SDS1204SD motor, this isn't the motor for you. Please see the 'Related Items' below for the motor you need.
