This is a genuine main motor body and cyclone for the Dyson V12 (SV20 SV30) cordless vacuum cleaner in yellow, part number 971640-02.

Please note: There is a known issue where these main body assemblies can cause the vacuum to cut out erratically. The symptoms are often similar to a failing battery, so if you have already ruled out the battery and the fault remains, this replacement part may be what you need.

Important: The Dyson V12 model name is often confused with Dyson SV12. This part fits Dyson V12 Detect Slim models only and does not fit Dyson SV12 (V10) machines. Please ensure you have the correct machine before purchase.
