This is a genuine Marshall Town vacuum suction testing gauge, commonly used in the trade and by technical reviewers (including on YouTube) to test suction on vacuum cleaners.
Originally designed for measuring vacuum in water systems, this gauge is also well-suited for testing airflow performance in vacuums. It measures from 0 to 160 kilopascals (kPa) and includes a rubber bung on the bottom for easy sealing against various vacuum cleaner tube ends.
Fits most standard vacuum hoses, though in some cases, especially with certain Dyson models, you may need an adaptor to create a flat sealing surface.
