Please note: Due to frequent user misdiagnosis, please be aware this part is NON-RETURNABLE.

This is a new DC771(2)XLLG cleaner head motor to fit inside the following Dyson cleanerheads:

All DC25
DC40 ERP models only (>>What’s an ERP model?<<)
All DC41 (both ERP and not)
All DC55
All DC75

This is the motor that drives the brushroll.

Please do not buy this part on spec simply because your brushroll doesn’t turn. It’s a non-returnable part. Check the feed that feeds the head (circa 320v DC) and meter test the old motor and PCB to confirm diagnosis before you buy (especially on DC40 models as the culprit is often >>this<< on those). Also compare the numbers on your old motor to be sure you are buying the correct part.

This is a genuine Johnson (Dyson OEM) spare part.

This motor is only for 220-240v UK, European and Australian machines. This will NOT fit USA market machines.

This part is not under warranty by Dyson as their policy is central to the fact they are not present at the time of fitting and thus cannot assess the expertise of the fitter.
